Nineteen year old Clare was diagnosed whilst studying at Hull university. After numerous blood tests and various GP appointments later, Clare ended up in hospital where her condition was described to her as life threatening and Doctors were unsure exactly what was causing her to be so ill. Clare talks about her experience of having a central line fitted, the steroids and their side effects and how her preconceptions of chemotherapy was visions of torture but it was actually okay and it was more the side effects after the treatment that was the worse part.
